The New Management Complex is unique Alumni supported venture of Aligarh Muslim University. This building project aims at providing State of the Art physical infrastructure to the Faculty of Management of Studies and Research - a flagship Institution of AMU. That shall enable its Department of Business Administration scale newer heights. This project was conceived during AMU’s World Alumni Summit in 2008. Two of Department's alumni - Mr. Ameer Ahamed, (1 crore INR) & Mr. A. G. Danish (10 Lakhs INR) committed seed capital then. AMU allocated 3 acre of land in lush green ambience of Sir Syed House Complex. Prof Abad Ahmad, (a doyen among management Gurus) helped crystallize design brief. Department's Faculty committed 11 Lakhs out of their salary. The project got a major fillip with generous contribution of $ 2 million (approx 13 crores INR) by Mr Frank F Islam, a distinguished US based AMU’s alumnus. This has enabled to the University to start work on the ground since May 2015. Since then, the work is progressing fast.

AMU has been built with community participation. Old buildings' grace reflects that character. How to revive that spirit of the golden era? The Faculty of Management wishes to be the starting point of this revival. Its alumni have excelled and have earned laurels for AMU. It has potential to create many more success stories. This building project can provide a model of AMU's growth beyond Governmental support. It can help channelize concern and goodwill of alumni and well wishers in AMU's future development in a concrete manner. Present VC, Lt. Gen Zameer Uddin Shah (Rtd) desires this Project to become a harbinger of change for the entire University. Here is an opportunity for you to join this historic initiative and create a legacy for yourself and your dear ones. You can do so by donating big or small amount, with noble intent. The NMC has three blocks: Academic, Administrative & Faculty and Library Block. Each block can be named after donors. In addition, each Block has facilities that may be named after donors.
